Ronnie Nathanielz
“In our books, he lost the fight,” said Nathanielsz in an interview on dzMM.
“I thought Marquez was at times faster than Pacquiao and he had good punches,”
“Maganda 'yung galaw ni Marquez at saka ‘yong his strategy was really perfect.”
Atty. Ed Tolentino believes Marquez prepared well for the fight.
“I think Marquez, ginawa niya 'yong kanyang homework. Ginawa niya 'yong kanyang assignment. Ang hindi natin maintindihan kung anong nangyari sa scorecards... pero that is the result eh,” he said.
Nathanielsz said Pacquiao didn’t seem his usual self in the fight. He said Pacquiao looked tight and tense while trading punches against Marquez.
“Pacquiao was tight… gigil na gigil. It was not the Manny Pacquiao we know,” said Nathanielsz.
Tolentino agreed.
That is how different Pacquiao looked,” Tolentino said.

Charice Pempengco Father Stabbed to Death
Posted by usefulrticles | 2:25 AM | Charice, News, Pempengco, Showbiz | 0 comments »The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday said a suspect in the killing of international singer Charice Pempengco’ father was arrested hours after the incident on Monday night in Laguna Province.
Reports reaching the PNP national headquarters in Camp Crame said the San Pedro, Laguna Police arrested Angel Capili, during a follow-up operation.
Initial investigation by the Laguna Police Provincial Office (LPPO) showed personal grudge was the motive behind the killing of Ricky Pempengco of Barangay Laram, San Pedro.
In his report to PNP spokesman Chief Supt. Agrimero Cruz, San Pedro Police chief Senior Superintendent Kirby Kraft, said Capili was apparently slighted because Pempengco ignored his presence.
Capili was sighted in another table with another group while Ricky Pempengco was with other friends during a drinking spree.
Kraft said Pempengco was buying cigarettes at a store along A. Bonifacio Road, also in Barangay Laram, when Capili attacked him with a 12-inch ice pick.
Pempengco managed to walk away and then sit on a pavement, but the suspect went back for him and stabbed him again. Capili fled the scene.
Kraft said Pempengco, who is separated from Charice’s mother, might have survived the stabbing had barangay officials been able to rush him to the hospital. Pempengco’s drinking buddies didn’t help him since they were afraid of getting hurt.
Witnesses said in 2005, Pempengco quarreled with Capili.
Raquel Pempengco, Charice’s mother, burst into tears after she found out that her children’s biological father was killed in a stabbing incident.
Charice said in her Twitter account that she cancelled her upcoming performance in Singapore, as she grieves over the death of her father Ricky Pempengco. Charice made the statement on her official Twitter account, just after she found out about the murder of her father.
The singer apologized to her fans in Singapore who want to see her perform, but she explained that she needs to go back to Manila to be with her family, who is in mourning.
“I am very sorry to all my fans from Singapore. I am not going to be there to be part of David Foster and Friends concert. I have to go back to the Philippines as soon as possible to be with my family. I hope you all understand. I love you all and I will see you next year,” Charice said.
TWEET FOR DAD'S RELATIVES.
Heto ang kanyang post bandang alas-otso ng umaga, November 1 (published as is):

After announcing that the league has canceled all games through Nov. 30 and dashing any hopes of a full 82-game schedule [see post below], Commissioner David Stern says that the NBA’s position will harden from here, given the fact that the league, according to Stern, has lost $200 million by missing out on the preseason and will lose hundreds of millions more with the loss of November games.
